The Almas Marinas Foundation was presented to society on October 28th aboard the historic ship Falcao Uno. Its president and founder Carlos Samblás explained with his team what the environmental education project consists of, whose main objective is to raise awareness among children, companies and institutions through open sea activities on the importance of plastic consumption and management. The collection and identification of waste to an action protocol in the event of a rescue of marine fauna are some of the activities that can be carried out in Almas Marinas.

Environmental education is essential to understand the threats and impacts suffered by the seas, as well as how to correct and alleviate the immense pressure that humans exert on this environment.

The objective of this innovative activity is to raise awareness and sensitize students and promote respect and conservation of marine ecosystems.
